For some young people, maths can be a real struggle. They may have gaps in their understanding, struggle to keep up in class, or have lost confidence in their ability to learn.
MFAL helps by funding one-to-one maths tuition for students whose families may not otherwise be able to afford this support.
Working individually with a tutor lets students learn at their own pace, ask questions, strengthen their understanding, and see progress.
